Shaft receives a package containing the head of his former FBI partner and a note from Clarissa Maxon a murderer who Shaft put in jail many years ago. During his investigation Shaft learns Maxon some how received a full pardon for her crimes and the she plans to attack Shelly next. Shaft rushes over to Shelly's apartment he finds Maxon is already there and after a brief scuffle a mysterious man named Jeriko appears he defeats Maxon and then teleports away with her. We see Dredd's plan take shape as Vogue turns to drugs to deal with her problems and Knightsabre is thrown in jail on the claim he was working with Thor during the attack on the base.
